Incredible $30 Cartography Humble Bundle Is a Online Gaming GM's Dream

After a brief run earlier this year, this cartography software collection is back with an encore available through early December. Described as an extensive collection of mapping tools created by a specialized software company throughout their history, the entire collection carries a value of over $1,300. Additionally, there exist three different bundles available here.

Primary Feature

The big draw is definitely a lifetime license for Campaign Cartographer 3+, a professional-grade cartography program which enables users to create everything from fantasy overworld maps, detailed regional charts, urban layouts, and, perhaps most importantly, tactical combat environments.

Bundle Tiers

Basic Package

The cheapest bundle tier, at a minimum cost of $1, includes only four of the 39 total items: Symbol Set 1: Fantasy Overland, Monster Token Pack 1, Castle Source Maps, Urban Source Maps. This one's only for cartographers who already have CC3+, yet it provides new fantasy symbol styles for overworld maps, over seven hundred fifty creature tokens compatible with online gaming platforms, over twenty-five aerial castle designs with 470 associated map tokens, eight fully mapped cities, plus seventy-plus building interiors.

Mid-Range Option

The eight-item bundle starting at fifteen dollars is where things get more interesting through inclusion of a lifetime CC3+ license, Cartographer's Annual Vol 1, Ultimate Mapping Guidebook, and Symbol Set 6: Isometric Cities. The Annual represents the yearly bundle from the company's long-running monthly subscription service which includes a variety CC3+ add-ons like map collections and additional utilities. Isometric Cities lets you display cities with an extra dimension with isometric views from all sides. And the Tome of Ultimate Mapping is a 760-page suitable for novices and experts, full of tips and tutorials for the map-making process.

Every volume from the Annual series are included here, plus numerous other resource and asset packs enabling creators to design entire planets or galaxies, or focus exclusively on classic fantasy realm creation: combat arenas, underground complexes, cities, and land masses from almost any perspective. You can even design character illustrations. For $30 as opposed to $15, the full bundle is so worth it, especially for cartographers who have only the annual CC3+ license seeking permanent licensing. But it's obviously an even better deal for cartography beginners considering you even get the beginners' tutorials to facilitate learning. The one caveat here though you can redeem the deal across platforms, the applications only function with Windows systems.

Charitable Component

Similar to previous bundles, a portion of each sale goes to benefit a nonprofit. In this instance, that's Save the Children, an organization founded by Eglantyne Jebb in 1919 focused on improving the lives of children worldwide via educational programs, medical services, and crisis response.
